Cross-Border Property Finance: Australia and Dubai

Gravity Capital has an active deal presence in Dubai and structures property finance transactions that span Australia and the UAE.

Dubai is one of the world's most active property markets, and capital moves between it and Australia in both directions. We structure finance for transactions that sit across the two jurisdictions.

Who we work with

  • Australian developers and investors undertaking property transactions in the UAE
  • UAE-based developers and sponsors undertaking projects in Australia
  • Transactions that combine Australian and UAE security, sponsors or capital

How cross-border deals are structured

Every cross-border transaction is structured with local legal counsel in each jurisdiction. Security, enforcement, currency and repatriation are addressed up front, and all transactions are subject to applicable Australian and UAE laws, including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing requirements and the identity verification that comes with them.
